I created Downtown Angry Brown for all the messages I have wanted to wear but haven't seen anywhere else. I like subverting well-known designs so that people will look...then look again, because what did that say? I try to overturn their expectations.

I am brown, mixed, queer, and neuroqueer, and I have a disability. When I am too disabled to do my regular organizing (anti-racism, LGBTQ+ support, advocacy for immigrant communities, disability access), I lie in bed with my laptop and create.
