There are 2.2 billion children on Earth; over 2 million are being exploited, sold, traded and enslaved into child sex trafficking. These crimes literally start in our own backyards, with the United States ranking in the top tier of sex trafficking cases involving children. For every t-shirt sold, we can help rescue children and end child sex slavery!
Operation Underground Railroad is comprised of former CIA and military personnel created to rescue trafficked children and dismantle this criminal network. Working in junction with law enforcement around the world, they have rescued 4,100 victims and assisted in the arrests of 2,300 traffickers.
The Holy Quail Artist, created the original artwork, “Off The Beaten Path,” for this T-shirt campaign.
“For the longest time, I wished I could create art for art’s sake—that my work would be enjoyed for its intrinsic beauty and aesthetic alone. However, as much as I tried to close my eyes to the things I didn’t want to see, my heart couldn’t close to the things I didn’t want to feel. For the past four years I dedicated my art to depict the consequences of childhood trauma and its prolonged effects throughout adulthood, to evoke compassion, raise awareness, and instigate social change. But I know it’s not enough. I want to support O.U.R. as they not only rescue children, but also provide aftercare services—so every survivor gets the care they need.”
Each O.U.R operation can save 1 to 50 children, costing an average of $50,000-$75,000. Know that 100% of the campaign proceeds go towards bringing freedom to survivors, reuniting families, and supporting survivor’s journeys’ across the world.
