Kase is an amazing 8-year-old boy who was diagnosed with a high-grade Glioblastoma and Li Fraumeni syndrome. Glioblastoma is a very aggressive type of tumor. Thankfully the tumor was able to be resected although he will still require other treatment for it. Li-Fraumeni Syndrome (lfs), is a genetic mutation that gives him a predisposition to cancer as his body is unable to fight off any tumor cells that grow. Kase will require specialized treatment for these conditions that are not available in the state of Nebraska so he will need to travel out of state for treatment.
