About this campaign
After a whirlwind, cancer-filled year (and then some), I am proud to say I’ll be beginning my next adventure and teaching in Ghana for the summer! While this is the opportunity of a lifetime, it is (as with most aspects of education) an unpaid opportunity. But, when have I ever let a hurdle or two stand in my way?!
All funds from this campaign will go towards my trip expenses—flights, visa application, vaccinations (as if I haven’t had enough injected in to me, amiright?!), travel insurance, and helping to cover my expenses (and maybe a medical bill or two) back home while I am abroad.
I have been completely blown away by the love and support (both emotionally and financially) from my family, friends, Alpha Phi sisters, colleagues, students, and more from around the world while I’ve undergone my cancer treatments and cannot tell you enough how humbled I am by you all! Even if I don’t sell a single shirt, please know I am forever grateful for each and every smile, message, text, card, call, gift basket, present, and good vibes that you’ve thrown my way these past few years!
